I got this as a gift for my dad for father's day. My family loves the knife set, they are sleek sharp and get the job done but there one big issue....they are rusting with <1 month use. The packaging information says the knives are dishwasher safe but I believe this is where the problem stems from. Nice knives just wish they weren't rusting, Id suggest not putting in the dishwasher.

Ok so for the $60 or so dollars these knives are you know they are not going to be the best out there.

Dont kid yourself - you will not be handing these down to your grand children to use. But for $60 you cant go wrong.

2 months of use and HANDWASHING / Quickly drying I do see some blemishes on the blades. But I can live with that.

The knife edges are very sharp and each blade is very good for its intended application. The knife block is actually really nice.

Its a great value for the money and if they last 3 or so years I will be more than happy.

They were great in the beginning!

I've had these knives for over a year and within 2 months half of the blades were loose in their handles.

The dishwasher breaks down the cheap plastic wedge the blade is sandwiched into.
Now I must hand wash them ALWAYS. Sucks... but you must or risk having to chuck your knives. It probably says that some where in fine print but I hey I don't like doing dishes, that's why I have a dishWASHER. (My biggest complaint is that this plastic part is not really evident in the photos and I truly thought I was getting one solid piece of metal with each knife- This is TOTALLY not the case.)

I won't be buying these again.
